The film was to present a feasibility study in Stung Atay

This film was produced by Television Khmer (TVK) in Khmer language and with English sub-title, under the support from the European Union (EU). The objective of the film was to present a feasibility study in Stung Atay and to convince all project stakeholders, especially Cambodian government ministers to support the implementation of the PES mechanism. The film has been shown recently to 6 key government ministers and representatives including Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Mines and Energy, Supreme National Economic Council of Ministry of Economics and Finance, Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, and Ministry of Planning. The film presents a conservation initiative as a development opportunity (investing hydrodam catchments for Cambodian development), thereby aligning with government strategies. All ministers and advisors offered their support for the project following the film viewing. Interestingly, the film will be also played from April to June to all other key stakeholders in the up coming workshop series related to green growth in Phnom Penh.

The film uses a style appropriate to the viewing preferences of a Cambodian audience. The film therefore technically uses strong key messages, which are appropriate to understand and does not jump quickly between scenes. Please enjoy!
